A fantastic start to the summer

I’m really excited to share two of my favourite patterns from my upcoming handprinted collection with you today.

First up is the Tulip design. I’ve always had a soft spot for tulips—they’re such a big part of Persian gardens. When they’re all grouped together, it’s incredibly grand and breathtaking. This pattern really captures that elegance and beauty.

Next is the Pomegranate pattern. This one is quite special to me and is deeply rooted in the persian culture, art, and traditions.

Pomegranate is especially significant during Yalda, happening on December 21st this year, which celebrates the longest night of the year. It’s a night that brings a sense of hope and joy for everyone, young and old alike. We usually gather with family and friends to eat, drink, sing happy songs and listen to poetry and stories about old times late into the night. How amazing is that? 🌟

Happy Monday, everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. With summer officially behind us, we can now look forward to the beauty of autumn.

These past few weeks have been a whirlwind as I’ve poured countless hours into getting my new website ready and listing my products. With teaching just around the corner, there’s still a lot on my plate, but seeing my label on every piece brings such a sense of accomplishment.

For me, a label is so much more than a name—it’s a mark of time, dedication, and passion. It’s a reflection of the countless hours and effort that go into each piece, and I deeply respect every artist and crafter who has gone through this process. I know firsthand how never-ending the journey can be, and I appreciate the dedication and love that each of us pours into our work. I’m excited to share this milestone with you and to celebrate the artistry that unites us all.❤️

Had such a wonderful time in the studio yesterday with my lovely student, Lujain. While she was busy finishing her lampshade, I decided to sneak in a little filming. Her reaction when she noticed was priceless—such a sweet, genuine moment that reminded me why I love what I do. It’s moments like these that show me teaching isn’t just about sharing a craft; it’s about the unexpected joys and the connections we create along the way.

Lujain came to learn about lampshades, but we ended up sharing so much more—life stories, future dreams, and so much laughter. I feel incredibly privileged to meet such kind and inspiring people through my work, many of whom become dear friends.
