Join us on our exciting five-day handprinted lampshade masterclass when you’ll learn how to design and print your own fabrics, ready to be made into beautiful, unique lampshades. Learning different printmaking techniques will help you unleash your creativity as you create your own designs, print original fabrics, and make one-of-a-kind products. There’s nothing so exciting as knowing your work is completely distinctive, made exactly how you envisioned it. Throughout this course, you will have the opportunity to learn several different printmaking techniques. You will have access to all the tools and materials to create different fabrics and try different designs. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have the skills to create designs and produce samples of prints for each technique to take home with you. Once you have made your original material, you will be supported in using the fabric to create your own, totally unique lampshade. Students have a choice of making either a drum/empire card lampshade, or a fully lined gathered/pleated lampshade.
