Upholstery is a craft which is learnt over long time with plenty of practice, but can be very rewarding and fun once you have learnt it. If you have ever wondered how to practice or develop your upholstery skills, then this workshop is the ideal one for you. We will provide you with relevant, practical applications and basic skills to upholster two seats using both modern (using foam) and traditional (using horsehair) techniques.
The idea of turning your skills, talents or passion to a craft business is very alluring. During our 1-2-1 workshop we will talk about how to make that transition. We will prepare you with facts and useful information. We will also talk about the importance of branding, marketing and how the advances of today’s social networking and online communities can enhance and increase the potential audience for your craft.

"- Fay M - East Sussex, 2 day beginners upholstery workshop
I did the 2 day beginners upholstery workshop with Moji over the weekend as it is a hobby I have been wanting to cultivate for a long time. The one to one tuition format worked brilliantly as it allows you to be completely focused and not feel rushed, just totally immersed in the learning and doing. Doing 2 different styles of seat was great, stage by stage I learnt so much and had a fantastic feeling of satisfaction having used my hands to make something. Especially as its sustainable, making something new out of something old. Moji is fab. Not only she is obviously an experienced and knowledgable professional, but also warm and patient, thorough yet relaxed. A marvellous combination! I would absolutely recommend Moji and this course to anyone. “"
